CHIROPRACTIC & CHILDREN'S BLADDER CONTROL In a controlled clinical study, 57 children who wet their beds nightly were divided into two equal groups. One group was adjusted regularly and the other group received no treatments (control group). 25% of the children who were adjusted regularly decreased their wet night frequency by 50%. That meant that in a week they were dry for at least four nights. In comparison, the control group who was not adjusted at all showed no improvement. The nervous system controls the entire body and it’s functions. The bladder is also controlled by the nervous system. Any interruption to the nervous system can cause dysfunction of the bladder. A subluxation is an interruption of the nervous system cuased by the misalignment of the spine. A child that is suffering from a Subluxation that is affecting the nerves of the bladder, could have bladder symptoms such as bed-wetting. Chiropractic adjustments that remove the Subluxation may reduce and eventually eliminate the bed-wetting. Furthermore, if the Subluxation is affecting the heart, lung, stomach, or any other organ of the body, it may have devastating effects, if not removed. And since Subluxations usually do not cause any pain or symptoms for a very long time, the best thing to do is to have the nervous system of adults and children checked before the onset of any symptoms.
